Noshi Apple iPhone 8 Battery Replacement Tutorial

[Precautions]: (The disassembly steps for the Apple 8 and Apple 8 Plus are identical—please pay attention to the screw positions.)

Precaution 1: Each screw corresponds to its specific location—make sure you match the right screw with the right spot; don’t get it wrong! (When tightening the screws, please don’t over-tighten them!!) If your phone gets damaged because you didn’t disassemble it properly, you’ll be responsible for the resulting loss. Also, please be extra careful when disassembling your device! The waterproof sealant left by the manufacturer is still usable, so there’s no need to replace it with a new one. As for the battery adhesive, we recommend using only half of it when installing a new battery—don’t use it all up. This will make future disassembly and maintenance much easier.

Note 2: Please make sure the device is completely powered off—meaning the battery cable has not been installed—before you proceed with installing the screen cable. Otherwise, after installation, you could end up damaging either the display IC or the screen cable itself. The video demonstrates the procedure performed by professionals; non-professionals must take special care to heed this warning. At the very least, you might damage the display IC or the screen cable; at worst, you could even burn a hole right through the motherboard. Please note that any mistakes made during disassembly or reassembly will be your responsibility.

The battery has adhesive strips inside:

1. Apply moderate pressure to stretch back and forth, or lift the black part. Once you see the white adhesive, wrap it with a screwdriver.

2. Start winding it little by little onto the screwdriver—pull a bit and then wind a bit more. Don’t pull forcefully all at once, as this could break the battery adhesive.

Note: If you’re unable to pull the tape out successfully, you can use a hairdryer to gently heat the battery compartment on the back cover. Heating the area will soften the adhesive tape that’s holding the battery in place, making it easier to remove the battery. (Never try to pry the battery out forcefully without first using a hairdryer to heat it.)
